Komodo International Airport (LBJ) is the only practical way in for most visitors. It has frequent flights from Bali, plus connections from Jakarta, Surabaya, Lombok, and Yogyakarta.

The town is small and walkable along the waterfront, but the better beaches are outside it. Choose town for convenience, or Waecicu/Pede for a quieter sleep and a view.

Waecicu / sunset strip
